The Owner, Kristie Hilderbrand-White

Kristie has lived and worked in Boulder since 1993.  She provided accounting services to a local company for many years, now franchised, when they, too, were just a start up.  She is the proud mother of three children, two who have graduated from Boulder High School, while the third attends Summit Middle School.  Her husband is in the technology field and works in Longmont.  She and her family are truly a part of this community.  They, like you, get outdoors as often as they can, hiking, biking, walking, exploring Pearl Street and just generally appreciating the beauty that surrounds us, everyday.

Kristie founded  Hilderbrand White Tax & Accounting in 2011 after realizing that the entrepreneur, start up, and micro business community was under served.  Most accounting firms in the area were courting clients with deep pockets and weren’t sensitive to the financial constraints and problems of the fledgling business, or the individual who needs a little extra care.  Fancy offices, high overhead, and big egos led to charging too much and not offering enough practical advice or ongoing personal service.  Boulder and Boulder County were built by entrepreneurs and small businesses. Kristie aims to keep it that way by not only serving this demographic, but also buying from and supporting local small businesses!
